These are the valuable life lessons that I have learnt (often the hard way) and would like to share with you. Many are those kinds of things that everyone else knew but never thought to warn me about. Gee, thanks. But I guess when these things are the everyday way of life for the locals, they often forget that others don't know all the rules yet. I hope you can learn from my experiences so that my suffering (and occasional humiliation) will not have been in vain.
#1 - Always carry a travel pack of tissues everywhere you go.
#2 - When travelling in the countryside, where a long dress or skirt wherever possible. It is the only thing that will allow you girls to retain any modesty and dignity when using the outdoor toilets.
#3 - If you don't have have a set of kahunas the size of coconuts, fake it.
